If you're having these thoughts at 30, you need to make significant life changes now.
I was bulletproof until 60, and only recently have had to confront the fact that I can't run as far or as fast, or lift as much as I did when I was in my 30s. You're right, it is humbling.
I still have excellent stamina, and I'm glad I started regular exercise early on. It helps you bounce back from inevitable health challenges, and keeps your testosterone up, and definitely helps with sex.
"Don't let the old man in" is damn good advice.
