Darwin Award nominee.
He's doubtful to make it through another sunset.

I remember when some monk in Vietnam did it back .... had to be fifty years or more ago. It accomplished nothing.
Neither will this fool's suicide accomplish one damn thing either way.

Actually it accomplished exactly what it was supposed to. JFK finally realized that the US-backed dictator in Vietnam was killing buddhists on the down low, and we pulled support. He was killed by his own men shortly thereafter.

If you are referring to Quang Duc and the monks that followed suit they were a prime mover that ultimately led to the coup that toppled Diem's regime which resulted in his assassination.
