Nvidia is backing this company..they have an earnings report due to be released on feb 29th…should be good stuff to watch.

I bought 175 shares of this at $2 in June after hearing it mentioned as an AI play. I was surprised when it jumped last week then read that Nvidia had bought a major position. My usual rule is to sell when it doubles but think I might hold this for a while. I’ve read a lot of companies are using them for phone customer service responses now.

The Nvidia position has been known for a while but the stock jumped when it was released again as part of the 13-F.
They invested back in 2017.
Nvidia has never filed a 13-F, and Soundhound CEO was coy on CNBC when discussing the filing, so I haven’t found any clarity on whether they recently bought in or if it was part of their original investment in 2017.
The 13-F filing was brought on by the appreciation in shares of ARM, which took NVDA’s investment portfolio over $100 million.

Don’t love that the stock is getting caught up in the recent trend where every NVDA one night stand has to go up 200%.
People need to understand there is not another Nvidia out there right now, and nearly every supplier or AI software company has substantial competition. Would love to get in on this stock below $2 again, but just can’t justify it at these prices IMO.

I got in a little late at 4.50 so im looking at this as a stock im not going to be afraid of taking profits. But this spurt is impressive. I wonder how high we looking. Is this all just off Nvidia?

No clue where it ends but it has some steam currently.
I don't expect this much longer and I hope I'm wrong.

I've got notification set at 6.75. if it hits that I'm out. I rode etherum classic too long and lost out on a lot of profits cause I thought it would bounce back when it spiked.

They have about a year of cash left at their current burn rate but be aware that have a $150M ATM on the shelf with Cantor and HC Wainright (HCW known on the street as the underwriters of dilution), a $400M shelf , a $75M equity line, 25M convertible notes at $1 and $11.50 warrants. The float is decent around 200M. If they only had a couple months cash and a smaller float I’d be smashing the bid like most of these small cap names but there’s been a year of accumulation so the float is probably locked up. I’d look for 11.50 as upside target.

The $11.50 warrants are SPAC warrants as well so insiders or underwriters probably trying to get out up there especially considering it’s 24% institutionally owned. It also has options that were monthly expiry but now they’ve introduced weeklies and usually when they do that it stifles the upside move since it makes a gamma squeeze harder to ignite.
Edit: they added strikes above $8 up to $11 this morning for this Friday expiry which is a good sign for higher if those calls see volume, since dealers will have to hedge those fresh calls.

They’re going to ring the register here soon given the all time highs.
