There are some differences in the harnesses, and other little things. Physically the engine will bolt in just fine. May need to convert all the accessories over to the ls3. Depending on the trans you may have to change out the drive shaft, and cross member.

Seems it would be easier to just throw a cam, and maybe some heads, at the 5.3 that is already in the truck. Or swap in a 6.0 from the same generation.
A crate LS3 isn't anything special.
