Don't ever get married in Louisiana.
Better yet, don't get married period. It's not worth it anymore, if it even was to begin with.

Been engaged twice. Neither worked out. Zero regrets here.
Three of my four closest friends have gone through divorces. Two of them got royally screwed. The one that didn’t got screwed in another sense as his teacher wife effed up.

Sorry you have such a miserable life. Been married a number of years and got married in Louisiana. Wouldn't do anything differently.
