Charlie said it best. Company wanting people to cash in on nostalgia and they didn’t even prepare themselves for what was coming up. Servers were not tested. There was insane amounts of rubber banding. You can crash the game instantly play searching one specific game modes.
There should be class action lawsuits for every game that comes out like this on launch. I cannot name a single game in the last 7 years that was not riddled with massive problems on launch day.

It's crazy how a re-release of two finished games can come out so broken and unfinished, especially considering how little was changed between the originals and the remasters.
That said, I have no idea why people are buying this for PC. Could they not tell from the screenshots and videos that the game barely looked any different from the existing PC version? Also, I believe you can still play online on the original versions. I totally understand buying this for console though.
The single player works well for the most part. Everyone complains about the aiming in BF2, but I found the aiming in BF1 to be far worse. Multiplayer is nearly unplayable with the high pings.
