I almost got shoot and killed sneaking into my room as a teenager in the 70s. My stepmom’s brother was sleeping in my room as they thought I was spending the night out. I was sneaking in the window so I didn’t wake the dogs and get busted. As I opened the window I heard his pistol click. He was scared shitless.
Anytime he stayed with us was probably because he was in trouble in New Orleans. Oh, he was a made man for Carlos Marcello. They said his grandfather, who was Silician, got off the boat with nothing but a machine gun.
