Geez, the point is, they want to shine light on all these things we supposedly hold dear, but by wearing masks?! This isn't how we hold people accountable. This is how we validate hate groups like ANTIFA. Go ahead and cheer on the brownshirts if you must.

As I said before, this IS NOT ORGANIC. Someone is funding this operation, and it absolutely cannot be from a NGO that has good intentions. Some of you haven't learned how this works.

I don't think you understand any part of this.

A lot of these people have youtube channels and they get views. They make money on this organically. None of this would be possible if LE knew about and cared about the law. These are not rare situations. They are far too common, which is why this stuff still takes place.

So far, all you've mentioned is that people are doing things that are constitutionally protected, and here you are, throwing a tantrum about it - you prove why they're needed.

Also, these guys are routinely harassed by people like you and LE, and they often end up arrested falsely, and win settlements in court because people are ignorant of the law. This is not validating antifa. You don't get settlements for validating antifa.

The internet is littered with these videos and 99% of them highlight ignorance of the law by LE. This is an entire genre of video content.
- Lawyer making money on the side with Uber, gets pulled because the rider is wanted. Police then want to go after the driver (lawyer) and they quickly see that it's going to be FAFO time if they proceed.
- Guy in police station parking lot filming, on public property, gets approached by LE, and treats them exactly as they treat him, asking them, "how much have you had to drink today". Finally they figure out they need to leave him alone.
- Another attorney making money doing housing inspections iirc, waiting for the homeowner or something, parked on the side of the road, police are called, he explains why he's there and they try the whole 'give us some ID' routine, he says he doesn't have to do that, they call backup, threaten him, finally police call their own attorneys and get it explained to them that he doesn't have to ID, all of this after they detained and cuffed this guy. They got sued and people's tax dollars went to a settlement because the police don't know the law and refuse to train on it.

The internet is full of this stuff, and you should be thankful. Departments are shelling out cash, your tax dollars, because they don't know the law and refuse to teach it in the academies, and instead tell police they can do things that are flatly unconstitutional. Eventually they'll be forced to learn the law, which is good for everyone.

I have seen videos of such grande stupidity, where police violate a criminal defense attorney's 4th amendment rights, at the courthouse, while being filmed, and they think they have authority to do what they do. They didn't, and they got sued. It was a blatant violation and total amateur hour by them. Virtually all of this comes from people in public with cameras, "auditing".

If you can't understand the utility of this, and understand why this must be done, even though it's distasteful, then that's a you problem. If you want to throw a tantrum, get angry at LE that don't know the law and will 100% arrest you illegally - then retaliate when you hold them accountable.

Of all the things to get angry about...this isn't one of them.

This wall of text is how I would define tantrum, buttercup.

The place they are planning to protest is a Council of Governments building. Good luck with your anti-cop narrative. Good luck understanding what a Council of Governments function is for that matter. You're so righteous because you watched some Youtube videos. Yawn.

Are you saying police should also be lawyers, or at least paralegals?
