Madrid gets a bad rap because all things considered it’s a modern city by Spanish standards. But you can have a great time and see some tremendous castles, art museums, and other cool stuff over a couple days.

But the thing is when you get out of Madrid you tend to believe “Esta es la verdadera Espana”
