We have girls but ours went up roughly $200/mo when we added the youngest in a 12 yr old car that's probably worth 6-7k. Our coverage is 100/300 I think

Don't forget they're taking into consideration the amount of damage she can do to the $60k SUV in front of her at the stoplight.

A Tesla pulled out in front of me (I was doing under 15mph), and it was $25k in damage to my two fiddy, and almost ten weeks of rental costs, paid for by Tesla driver's insurance. That's more than a third of what the truck cost to begin with. My recent renewal is at 3500 ish a year with no drivers other than me on the policy (no accidents, at fault or not, since 2001.)
