I, too, had the exact same question as the other guy. How is Romney a Rebpulican in name only? Your answer would be fascinating.
To start, is he all in on funding Ukraine into infinity? Check. Was he all in favor of the garbage border bill that would have codified the current insanity in our immigration system? Check. Seriously, how far do you want to go with this? How much time do you have?
On, and I forgot. Did he have a son cashing in on the Ukraine gravy train? Check.

How is that violating the traditional notion of Republican?
You're displaying the exact argument that those most likely to use the term "RINO" are the ones pushing a version of Republican policy that never existed before Trump/MAGA hijacked the terms "conservative" and "Republican".
We're talking like, 100+ years of Republican party policies are suddenly now...RINO.
Republicans didn't change, you changed, but you're too scared to use a different term. My theory on that is the people manipulating y'all into this belief change understand how pitiful the election results would be if y'all did start a 3rd party.

This would be a Rep cornerstone along with supporting Israel.
Normally conservatives are always for defending Democracy.
Not so much anymore apparently. Trump Reps are closer to Dems
than conservative Rep.

Buckley and Reagan weren't foreign policy hawks?
It's interesting how the "Republican" party has replaced the Democrat party as the party of the idealists and dreamers and "if we just take care of our own country and stop worrying about other countries, everything will magically work out and continue like it is and we'll still be the global hegemon and make the rules and reap the rewards of being the global hegemon. Easter bunny. Donald Trump. Tooth fairy. Fresh flowers."
