Why? Williams’ OBP was far far higher than Gwynn’s, .481 to .388. Bases loaded doesn’t even require you to get a hit to get the run in, just get on base. Williams did both better than Gwynn. So did a lot of players. In fact, Gwynn is 122nd all-time in OBP
