Stumbled across a superb French bakery in Shanghai looking for street vendor food in a part of the city where I might have been the only caucasian within 5 million people. If it smelled good or had a long line of locals waiting, I tried it.
I've found decent to excellent food in almost every country I've traveled for business. Being on an expense account helps with higher end restaurants in large cities. But the street food in Shanghai was very good, better than the hotel where I stayed.
South Louisiana has an abundance of seafood that's hard to beat in most parts of the world.
