I didn’t say “was there good food”. I said “is it disappointing?” As another poster mentioned, per capita, meaning on average, La food is better. And I readily admitted I’m not well traveled, so I’m just asking.

Sure if your entire universe is one tiny spec of the world and new things scare you, something different things may be off putting.
