Russell Shepard-can't wait to see him play, imagine him faking a handoff to holliday then streaking up the middle

Rueben Randle(IF he decides to come here)big if..if he comes here, and lafell stays, our receiving core will be straight SICK!

Craig Loston-assuming he's a tiger, HUGE hitter, too talented not to play

Chris Davenport-big man provides depth

Janzen Jackson-i think he gets a good amount of pt

Akiem Hicks (should rotate to provide depth on line)

Biggest impact?...IMO it will be Deangelo Benton

Barring serious injuries and/or downright stupid behavior, we'll be right back on track with the QB rotation we had before RP fricked it up. We just can't put so much stock into one guy.

if he did get a chance it would be special teams or as the nickelback. but I doubt we waste a redshirt for this.

plus we all know that miles likes to play a safety as the nickel.

It looks like you just went down the list and took the highest rated players we have.

Why would Janzen play over PP, Chris, Jai, Brandon Taylor, Ron Brooks, etc. etc. etc.?

You must be expecting a lot of injuries. Which true freshmen , during the Miles tenure, have made a big impact?

it doesn't matter if he is not as fast. It's the type of athlete shep and harvin each are. you want the ball in shep's hands as many plays as possible.

Unless you're like Les and want to burn a year of his on special teams, I'd say redshirt the guy. Get him SEC ready and let the handful of other guys ahead of him, who are all really talented, play for the time being.

Anyways, Minter and Loston will be big impact guys on D. We need athleticism at safety, which Loston provides, and a speed/strength combo at LB, which Minter provides. I don't think either Randle or Benton will be one of the three WRs out there.

i think that halfway through the season benton will move up to the no.3 WR(assuming lafell returns)

if lafell doesnt return, then i could see randle getting a good bit of pt, like toliver did in 07(except randle is, as it's been said, much more ready, physique-wise, to play in the SEC than toliver) he is also faster
