Never thought it was cheesy or shoe horned in. It was the motivation of why this man does the things he does. You already knew he had blind rage and unwavering determination to his goal, this just told more of why instead of being the characters only trait.

Good to see the Movie board starting to accept that gays, women, minorities, etc do exist in the world. And it’s okay to have 40 hour series motivated by gay love.
