tech will never ever beat lsu in anything-- miles has never lost one of these games and even with troy in the lead he still beat them- dooley will have a long wait if he needs lsu win to get him a big time job

Derek Dooley will have Tech competitive in the WAC. If he stays long enough I believe he will beat Boise St. as the WAC champion.

dooley is the real deal. he seems to be a great hybrid of nick saban (who he worked under at lsu and with the dolphins) and his father. he is organized and meticulous, very detailed oriented, much like saban. he is much more media friendly and personable with alumni.
he absolutely will get in a player's face on the sideline (see it on you tube). yet the players seem to love him.
he has done two years of a five year contract so far. he did have an interview with auburn but seems happy in ruston. he seems like he wants to build things and see them through.
he has upgraded the athletic department and also is the AD on paper now, although he has an assistant that runs the day to day operations.
unfortunately, i am sure he will move on (later than sooner i hope) and i would assume his destination is either virginia (he played there) or an sec school.
as for women's basketball, beating tech is no big deal anymore. as for next november in tiger stadium, we'll see. we are young and should only get better. if lsu gets it together and finds a qb, we don't have that kind of depth. but neither does troy state. i'm looking forward to it.

Yea, everything I've heard about him has been really good. He came to Tech when that program was on really hard times. The Bulldogs were coming off a 3-9 record, I believe? Also there was a serious lack of talent. Even still there is a lack of talent but they are playing great as a team and Dooley is getting the most out of his players. I do think he moves on but he will wait until the right job comes along. Until then he will keep making the Bulldogs better.

I'm not calling BS on this just yet, but reevaluation would be prudent.

He did. You don't know what you're talking about. Go sit in the corner and let the adults speak.
