if your marxist, activist da's and judges, politicians and bureaucrats actually cared about gun crimes, they'd prosecute repeat gun offenders for minimum mandatory 20 year sentences, and enforce laws already on the books for lunatics and thug pos human cockroaches.

I'll bet the farm the individuals who did the shooting were not one of the millions of law abiding, taxpaying, sane gun owners in the country without so much as a speeding ticket, and a mental health history consisting of, maybe, an adderall prescription back when they were in college.
