How?
I grew up in KC, parents, sister, & majority of family still lives in the city and Jackson County. My BIL is a member of the sports media, he used to have his own post game Chief’s show when Time Warner was your cable provider and that’s exactly what it is.
Here’s a major hint why is J.E. Dunn do intricately involved in this decision?

The majority of the metro is not on the Kansas side.

People will go to the new stadium. They're wanting to put it just on the other side of the highway from the Tmobile center which they have no problem filling up for events.

There is no plan to sell and move the royals. They have a local ownership group that is committed to keeping the team in kc.

You know JE Dunn is a KC company and has an ownership stake in the Royals, right?

JE Dunn is part owner of the Royals. They have their fingers in a lot of the big construction project in Kansas City.
