None of you realize —- LSU has never had an elite coach!
You have never experienced great LSU basketball. You swoon over a coach who got caught cheating (believe me, they all do —- but he was dumb), and he NEVER was close to the ring.
Dale had the longest tourney streak (11) and had the best success (2) F4s….
Even Dale — who had the overall BEST talent in LSU history, couldn’t win it all with it —- and even he cheated.
We now have a coach who has NOTHING on his roster - mainly due to EVERY player leaving thanks to the Wade dismissal, and NCAA Investigation, thus making it EXTREMELY difficult to recruit/sign any “true, starting SEC-caliber talent”
LSU basketball is far away from being great - even if T-Pear (what a immature nickname) were still here
