Ehhhh, I find million dollar + gaudy houses on small-ish lots equally confusing. I can't comprehend how wealthy I would need to be to consider a million dollar home with very little land a good idea. A million dollars of land? frick yea.

I haven't seen the numbers lately, but Yukon Denali buyers had higher average income than Escalade buyers ten or so years ago.
I'd be surprised if that has changed.
