re: If my memory is correct. LSU hasn't seen OL recruiting under Kelly this good since Saban.

Well, we recruited a truly great offensive line that took the field in 2019, but a lot of those guys were not super highly rated. A lot of fans think Burrow made a good line look great. They are wrong. The NFL chops of that line exceed any line in LSU history. Cushenberry and Damien Lewis are solid NFL starters. Saahdiq Charles and Ingram are also starters. Deculus is also on an NFL roster.
Four guys starting in the NFL and another is on an active roster! That was a great offensive line that was considerably better than any Saban offensive line at LSU. If this isn’t enough for you go back and rewatch that 2019 Alabama game. That offensive line mauled Bama’s defense.

I don’t think you can really include Ingram in that list since he only started 2 games in 2019. Rosenthal and Traore each started more games than Ingram.
Our actual first team was Charles, Magee, Cushenberry, Lewis, and Deculus. However, Charles missed 6 games. Deculus also missed 2 games.
It does highlight one of the strengths of that group though - there was a lot of trial by fire in 2018 between injuries and shuffling guys around to find the right group. We had a lot of depth.
All of that said I do believe the 2019 OL was very good, and I agree that fans generally seem to undervalue them because of the absurd talent we had at skill positions.
