re: Would you do a long road trip vacation?

I've had a few, some with the family. But the really long one was with my brother-in-law on the trip from hell on motorcycles. I'm thinking 13 states up through South Dakota, then swinging west into Spokane. It was a comedy of mishaps and errors.

When the kids were little, we couldn't afford much of a vacation, so we pulled my parents' camping trailer through 3 or 4 states, staying in a lot of state parks.

It was like National Lampoon's Vacation before it came out.
