As you stated in your post this causes a real dropoff offensively and in the running of the offense. The defense is probably a push as Poa nor Van Lith are that good defensively at the point. With that said our offense requires a point guard that can run the offense through Reese and Morrow and allow them to get to the bucket and get buckets, fouls, or kick outs to shooters.

Poa has not shown the ability to do that prior to the 2nd half yesterday.

It's not about starting it's about match ups. Also......maybe Poa actually needs to sit and process the game before she gets put in. The coaches know what they're doing, and having HVL play both 1 and 2 is a big deal for what defense the other teams play. Our pace of play is tough for other teams as well, and bringing in Poa sliding over HVL is a great way to get more match up issues. You want the experienced players on the court in big games.
