Jax, wait until the day of the show. I promise you some good face value tickets will be released the day of or night before the show. I do it all the time.
Thanks dude. Yeah I did that for Anthrax and BLS in Minneapolis two summers ago and I was sweating around 3:00 day of. Tried to wait it out and eventually there were no tickets available. A few more popped up though, and I snatched one. I think I may have paid a little more than I was planning to then as well. It was damn worth it though.
I keep meaning to check some of these other shows on day of but keep forgetting. Nashville was over $300 for pit tickets for weeks but of course I forgot to look on the day of the show.
ETA: Actually, I may have misremembered about Anthrax in Minneapolis. I think I was sweating on the day of because the tickets I had my eye on got snatched up and only the more expensive tickets were left, but then they started coming down some. I’m pretty sure they were only a few available at all when I made my purchase.
Also, Hetfield I’ve been using SeatGeek lately, but please let me know if you have any better suggestions. Last I checked Ticketmaster they were at least below $400 so I’m keeping them in mind as well.
