So you spend an entire threads arguing a show you haven’t seen adapting a book you haven’t read is filled with Hollywood wokism.
Nope. I can tell you read nothing I posted.
quote:.
And you argue that Hollywood wokism is the reason that George rr Martin hasn’t finished the series
I did nothing of the sort. The post you immediately replied to clearly states the exact opposite.
"I fully confess and admit that his delaying of developing a proper ending could have nothing whatsoever to do with current day Hollywood authoritarianism."
quote:
Yet the Hollywood adaptation of the series is done.
Where's the book?
quote:
There is no need to worry about that.
Umm, ok? I guess.
quote:
Additionally he has continued to work.
Correct. While ignoring the one work most fans have been clamoring for him to finish for years.

Notably fire and blood for which house of the dragon is based on.
Which still isn't ... what are you even going on about?
quote:
Mind you there is plenty of violence and nudity that satisfy you if you were to read it.
Now I think you're telling on yourself.
quote:
Perhaps they adapted the portion of the story because of comments like yours and wanted people to focus on the story telling and world building.
Huh? This is George's own work we're talking about here. The books are more explicit, are they not? That's his style, that's his own work. I think you're getting really confused here. Nothing I or anyone who watches the TV versions of his works should alter his vision one damn bit. If he'd finished the damn series in the 1st place, THEN moved on, all of this would be moot!
quote:
Not because of any “wokeness” at all
Again, I stated exactly that. But also recognize that Hollywood has moved on and changed. Like it or not.
quote:
Also. Maybe George is kind of a coward and doesn’t know how to end it without some fans having backlash about the story (ie bran) and he’s scared of criticism
Yeah, probably. That's the risk when you hand off a series to clueless duo who don't know what they're doing because they're under a deadline.
And?
