I never had a problem with the shrimp lady - my stuff was always clean. I sent a friend from work to her and she complained that there were too many small shrimp mixed in with the large, but I didn't really give much thought to it because the lady complains about everything.
People keep telling me I should buy shrimp by the ice chest - I guess I need to start, then I could eat shrimp more.

always fresh and decent prices... get there early.
Sweet lady and mine ususally pretty clean, but I only buy a few pounds at a time usually.
I used to load up on with shrimp everytime I went to grand isle, but I am usually going down there 5-6 times a year at least.
Now I just pick up a few pound everytime I am down there and go see the shrimp lady the rest of the time. I would rather eat the fresh shrimp from her, than what I had frozen.
