Ive seen enough of both.
Not to be a traitor to my generation but we will go from Baby Boomer POTUS to Milinal POTUS and it will not be good for this country. I put the blame on both parties for feeding at the trough at the moment and not thinking of how to feed the children and grandchildren of the actual voters.
A generation ago folks like Moscow Mitch, DJT, and Biden should have stepped aside and promoted the next generation of leaders while they took on the mentor and wise sage mode in their life. Instead they are holding on till it is pried from their cold, dead hands, and it will be too late to help the actual citizens.

Is this a generational thing? My father is working in a high level government job and he’s almost 80. He could have retired (with an Army retirement, Gov retirement and whatever the thrift savings scam is that gov employees participate in) but he won’t. He grew up poor and I think that’s the issue but it could just be his generation. He’s still the best at his job, but I would think he’d want to retire, especially with the shite show the government has become.
