True, the transfer portal has drastically changed college football, and it's likely to get worse when kids are allowed to transfer as many times as they like, without any penalty. That day is likely coming.

Still, LSU has handled it as well as anyone could. Heard was really the only major player we've lost. Where it really hurts most teams is the depth you lose, and that's a major problem for most everyone. Gotta continue to stack top recruiting classes and hope you can hold onto enough of them to have some depth.

In all, I think LSU has done a good job of controlling the outward bound side of the portal.
