They use two different engines.

Just stop. The hybrid part for a PIU is just so they can sit for long periods with the engine off.

It almost never runs on electric while moving. FFS. Only in the parking lot.

Granted. I’ve only got 10k of driving miles in mine so far so maybe the magic will kick in and it will run electic at 55 MPH at some point.


It’s is pretty quick for a suv though but that’s from the turbos and larger displacement motor.

I really did forget how EV sensitive you were. Damn.

Bet it’s got a mean passing gear too

All normal hybrids almost never go into electric mode dumbass. That’s the entire fricking point of what I’m saying. They’re pieces of shite. The new PHEV are the ones that have real EV mileage and those are the same ones that the storage units, inverters, etc from BEV development.

You really are clueless about this.
