it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that this is happening. we just don't know the "why" behind it.


3 reasons come to mind:

- they're not making their money back fast enough on the current list of exclusives
- acquiring a new publisher like you stated
- they're leaving the console market

it could be a combination of all 3. but the fact that phil didn't deny any of it basically confirms something is happening.

eta: i wouldn't be surprised if Sony has a hand in this with offering it's exclusives to MS.
