Federal soft points in 223 will drop a hog.
I have 2 ARs in 7.62x39 that will do the same. Ammonused to be cheaper pre ban.
Make sure you buy the bolt from Black Rifle Arms. They designed one for that round specifically. I haven't had an issue with them.
Broke an extractor off of another milled out bolt from another company after about 800 rounds.

You can kill hogs with a .17 as long as you aim for the ear.

And in case you didn’t know…..5.56 guns can shoot .223. Not the other way around.
