I did a lot of buildering on college because it was before climbing gyms were common and even on the weekends I had too much stuff to do to get to the cliffs. I never climbed anything taller than 6 or 7 stories because it is boring and I was interested in getting arrested. You also have to deal with getting down which if you can scout the roof before hand you might not have a useful rap anchor since the doors were usually locked and down climbing is a PITA and twice as dangerous as going up. Plus if I was going to die soloing I wanted it to be at the bottom of a crag and not on the pavement.
