My musical taste is still growing, but it is usually something older. Like in the last two years I’ve gotten much more into early disco and more recently R&B like Stax type stuff.

I’m really not bored with music, it’s really quite opposite, so I don’t necessarily feel compelled to find much new. I’ve always been someone that listens to things over and over.

Admittedly, I am biased toward guitar driven music, and I am not getting out to live shows. Those things are limiting.

Nevertheless, even the stuff by artists that I liked what they were putting out 10 years ago, I find a bit boring and just don’t hear much with staying power. I feel the same with movies and tv.
