Roll tax increases (or tax cuts) into a veterans' benefits bill. Then when your opposition votes against it, you can tell their district its' because they hate veterans.

That's the Washington D.C. way.

As screwed up as Baton Rouge and Louisiana government can be, that kind of shite isn't allowed in the State Legislature.
