I wasn't born in Texas but I git here as soon as I could.
My home will always be Louisiana though, wouldn't mind moving back to a lake once I retire.

That’s the cringiest propaganda that Tx loves to push.
My deal with people moving to Tx is that it’s inevitable. It’ll happen. There’s just not enough people coming from states like Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas and Oklahoma. There’s too many coming from states like California, New York and Florida.
