It shows how screwed up our system is but I’m glad both the wife and Timpson are both black. It shouldn’t matter but it unfortunately does.

During Jim Crow and Reconstruction there was a need to close ranks among Blacks. If we’re not there yet I hope some day we’ll get to where the black community will keep an eye out for fairness but expect honesty and accountability from their own. Until they police themselves, they will never advance as quickly as they could.
