I agree with a lot of what you are saying. I don’t think they should have made big changes. I do however fully believe that the organization, whether it’s Willie’s staff or Griff and his staff, put more weight into that playoff run and the last 10 games of the last season (which were largely unsuccessful) than they did with Zion’s December run minus BI. It’s why BI has been given the keys to this team. I think it’s also a big reason BI hasn’t changed his shot chart this year.

Maybe it was because they were afraid of Zion being injured again, but it is obvious they have made the wrong choice. The problem is, once an organization goes with one guy as the #1 it is very hard to change that and keep him. Hopefully they can work it out but it can’t be BI’s team going forward.
