Key phrase there is "playing well together". Because of their ball dominance tendencies, there aren't many games where they play well together.

For this team to be successful, one has to go and the other needs either suddenly realize their superstar potential or accept being a really good #2 behind another superstar.

What we're doing right now can maybe max out as a 4-seed, but more than likely always fall in the 5-9 seed range. That's not a recipe for success.
