Yep. Knee-jerk emotional hire because the players love him. He was basically a puppet during those wins, Harbaugh did everything but stand on the sideline during the games.

Promoting to HC from within rarely works out. I don't think Sharrone Moore will last either.

As soon as Harbaugh's players start graduating or transferring, Michigan's program will start to decline.
Watch Notre Dame too. Once Kelly's guys start to depart, Marcus Freeman will show that he's "In Over His Head" as well.
