You are reaching at comments that she said about fan support and buy in, to a program that was coached by a friend of hers. She didn't say anything bad about Mulkey. She doesn't talk about other coaches. If you actually would listen to her, and not take part in group think like your teenage daughters, you'd clearly see her message. She's great for WBB, for the lane that she has in it.

I respectfully disagree, IMHO you are the one reaching if you don't think that was calculated.
She knew very good and well that was total BS and she said it anyway.
By the way you should adhere to the same standard you credit Staley for in conversing with others - I don't think comparing us to teenage girls lives up to that standard.

When she says if "her friend" had gotten the same fan support as Coach Mulkey has, she'd still be there. Not saying one word about "her friend" being at LSU for 10 years & had every opportunity to succeed. Perhaps not a slap at CKM but it was a direct, not subtle shot at LSU's fans / administration. But do educate us "oppressors" as to what her message was, so deep that us girls don't get it.
