re: Weather: work from home request?

It amazes me what people do or try today that would’ve never been considered a few years ago. Americans are lazy and need to be kicked in the arse.

I would never even think to ask my boss to work from home over something stupid like rain outside. If he wants to give me that option, he’ll let me know. Me asking is basically saying, “I feel like being a lazy arse and not coming to work on a Thursday. Can I screw off?”

The fact that people think it’s acceptable to ask to stay home and not use PTO for reasons like:
- rain
- I didn’t sleep well last night
- my dog is sick
- etc

I’ve never seen a weaker generation in my life. When did all these request become acceptable when a few years ago they would’ve never existed?
