Not true.
You don’t start trying to rebound after the shot hits the rim. As soon as the ball is released you find your man, but your arse on him and drive him back. Dean was reactive, not proactive. And he’s also physically weak.

He was blocking out with the ball in the air. Dean is outweighed by the UGA guy by about 35 lbs. He’s not going to drive him anywhere. But Dean was in between him and the goal. The ball just rocketed off the rim and past Dean.
Or I could buy the UGA guy reached over the back.
