It's sad but true. I always had a great respect for Stewart as Daily Show host. That doesn't mean that I agreed with him always, but he was at least funny and did poke fun at both sides (even though mostly it was at conservatives). If you have been paying attention to him the past few years, he's shown that he's compromised and does not possess much objective skepticism at all. Just watch his interview with Andrew Sullivan on his Apple+ show. He'll still pop up and point out absurdness in government and news on occasion, like with the lab leak a couple years ago, but he seems 90% in with the woke crowd.

That being said, this is Comedy Central's last ditch effort to regain some sort of relevance. NOBODY is watching new content on that channel, outside of South Park...which is crazy. Comedy Central was much more than South Park for a long time...but is slowly going the way of MTV.
