Even in our little town we are starting to see non English speaking pediatric patients in therapy clinics being paid for by Medicaid. They are most certainly tapping into our welfare systems.
If they have fake papers - they can get cards bc e verify isn’t perfect or the fake papers are really good
If it’s all legit - it means the parents have been here for 5 years

Birth right citizenship is fricking this country hard. No doubt the parents aren’t legit but if little Juan pops on on us soil they in like Flynt

Personally witnessed van loads of ‘em swap/pass out social security cards when applying for jobs. Takes the system a long time to reject them then they just bounce to the next place in town with a new name and card. The system is beyond broken.

Most likely the government worker doesn't know how to read immigration documents or they believe a Social Security card that says "for work purposes only " is given to citizens.
