The suburbs have some redneck-esque good blue collared folks. The libtards in the city suck, but the suburbs are great.

Yes, my daughter lives in Olympia, which is about 45 minutes south of Seattle. I envy her, I could put politics aside to live there.

I would caution that what passes for a staunch conservative in the Pacific Northwest, with the exception of most of Idaho and some parts of Utah, would make the most progressive people of Austen and Atlanta seem like Ronald Reagan. Especially in Washington ALL of the blue collar jobs are union jobs....almost no none union jobs in the area. That alone is indicative of what a PNW conservative is about. I was more than happy with the politics in the area but I can assure you most of the posters here would not be, even in the most conservative groups of people.
