Young, distant relative out-of-state married a gal like this. Never understood why.

The last time we visited was the first time I'd seen the wife among her friends and not just in-laws.

She was quick-witted and hilarious. Could easily be a stand-up comic.

I had confused her introverted nature for stupidity.
