I broke up with my last girlfriend for this exact reason. I felt bad breaking up with her because she didn’t do anything egregious at all she just wasn’t enjoyable to have conversations with.
She was a very pretty, nice, and intelligent person. But she was exceptionally dull and ditzy. This was 20 years ago but she would have been all in on the Taylor/Travis saga.
I probably could have had a nice quiet life with her but I would have been bored out of my mind.
The next person I dated was my wife and she can drive me nuts but there’s at least a spark and passion there.
