Kolaches are from Czechia but what Czechs call kolaches are not the same as kolaches in texas.

So did Texas and Louisiana both individually start calling kolaches the same thing (both being different from what Czechs call them?)

No. Obviously fricking not. It started in Texas and branched out. Hence, I am surprised it is not only in texas.

I promise that I’m the absolute last dude on here you want to try to get into a history debate with. Especially if it has anything to do with texas.

Hot dog pig in the blanket being passed off as a kolache really pisses me off for some reason, no matter if it was sold in Louisiana or Texas.
