I can only think of times in the past where co-coordinators have been a failure. When has it worked before? Whether college or NFL?

Both Michigan and Georgia had Co-DC last season. It's not that rare.

Also Tony Elliott and Jeff Scott were co-OCs at Clemson from 2014-2019 during some of their best years.

This, don’t remember it working last time it was given a go at LSU. Granted these are different people but if it was so successful wouldn’t more people be doing it?
